My pet has special needs, can we have him?
Yes, Dogilton employees are thoroughly trained to administer medications. However, unfortunately, we no longer accept insulin dependent pets. If you have a senior pet, please inform an associate and we will gladly accommodate their needs. Effective 12/15/18, all prescription medications must be presented in the original medication bottle.
Post Surgery Guests: To reduce the risk of complications post surgery, Dogilton will not accept any pet with non-dissolvable staples or stitches. Any pets with dissolvable stitches must be at least 2 weeks post operation.
Does my pet get to play at Dogilton?
Your dog will be able to enjoy group playtime with compatible dogs, according to size and temperament. If your dog does not interact well with others, Dogilton does offer individual play sessions. Cat play sessions are done individually or with other cats from their family. You may also purchase additional playtimes for your pet.
What is the "Dogilton Commitment?"
At Dogilton Resort & Day Spa, we proudly guarantee our “Dogilton Commitment” to each guest that enters our building. We are committed to providing a safe, clean and fun environment for your pet. Anything less is not Dogilton. Our attentive staff is passionate about pets and will go the extra mile to ensure that your pet has a safe and enjoyable time with us. Trust is something earned and we are committed to treating all our guests as members of our own family.
For the benefit of your pet, Dogilton recommends that you bring their own food in pre-measured and pre-marked zip lock baggies to maintain your pet’s normal diet. This also helps prevent upset stomachs. However, we do provide Hill’s Science Diet as our premium house food for $3/per day/per pet.
Can I bring my pet's favorite toy or blanket?
To ensure a flea and tick free environment, we ask that you do not bring any bedding, fabrics or plush toys. We provide all guests with premium bedding and blanket at no additional charge.
What is the minimum age for boarding my pet?
The youngest age Dogilton will accept is a 12-week-old puppy or kitten. Your pet must be up-to-date on all vaccinations and have had at least their second set of vaccinations: Rabies, DAPP (2 rounds) and Bordetella.
Does Dogilton have any boarding restrictions?
For the safety of your pet and other guests at Dogilton, we do not accept pets in heat, pets that have been coughing within the last week, pets that have open wounds or stitches, pets that are recovering from surgery, pets that have contagious diseases, or pets who are people-aggressive.

Yes, Dogilton accepts unaltered or intact pets. These pets will receive their two complimentary play sessions individually with a Dogilton Playtime Coordinator or with other dogs from their family. However, Dogilton does not accept any pets in heat; we apologize for any inconvenience.
