The History of Dogilton
Dogilton Resort and Day Spa® founder Christopher Walkins was looking for the perfect place to board his Bichon Frise, Richard. After researching his options, he realized there was a serious need for a boarding facility that wasn’t sterile, intimidating and boring—one that could give him peace of mind, while relieving Richard’s intense separation anxiety.
With a focus on giving pet parents access to all the premium care they need to give their furry family member the happiest, healthiest, longest life possible, the Dogilton brand has grown to offer resort-style pet day camp and care, professional pet grooming, low-stress veterinary care, and of course, overnight boarding that feels like home, all under one roof.

Can I take a tour of a Dogilton Resort?
You (and your pet) are encouraged to tour the facility prior to your boarding reservation. Dogilton’s Get Acquainted Day offers a complimentary day of day camp for new customers, with proof of up-to-date vaccinations. This allows your pet to become acquainted with our staff and resort scents to help ease the transition into boarding. A reservation is recommended if touring the resort with your pet.
What is the "Dogilton Commitment?"
At Dogilton, we proudly guarantee our “Dogilton Commitment” to each guest that enters our building. We are committed to providing a safe, clean and fun environment for your pet. Anything less is not Dogilton. Our attentive staff is passionate about pets and will go the extra mile to ensure that your pet has a safe and enjoyable time with us. Trust is something earned and we are committed to treating all our guests as members of our own family.
Does Dogilton have any boarding restrictions?
For the safety of your pet and other guests at Dogilton, we do not accept pets in heat, pets that have been coughing within the last week, pets that have open wounds or stitches, pets that are recovering from surgery, pets that have contagious diseases, or pets who are people-aggressive.
Does my pet get to play at a Dogilton Resort?
Your dog will be able to enjoy group playtime with compatible dogs, according to size and temperament. If your dog does not interact well with others, Dogilton does offer individual play sessions. Cat play sessions are done individually or with other cats from their family. You may also purchase additional playtimes for your pet.
